New ownership at AmericInn Lodge & Suites

MANITOWOC — Bill Chambers, his family and Shooter Loch have purchased the AmericInn Lodge & Suites, 5020 Hecker Road, from Mark and Jennifer Ring.

Chambers also is the co-owner of the AmericInn on Velp Avenue in Green Bay, an 81-room property they built and opened in 1996.

Chambers said the Manitowoc location is attractive to those traveling between Chicago and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

It also does well with patronage linked to tourism and Lakeshore area conventions and weddings.
