Orion wins 'Friend of the Environment' award

MANITOWOC — Orion Energy Systems is one of nine Wisconsin companies receiving a "Business Friend of the Environment" award from the Wisconsin Environmental Working Group, an affiliate of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.

"As Wisconsin businesses strive to excel in tough economic times, these winning companies have proven that you can protect the environment and run a strong business," said Scott Manley, WEWG director.

"These winners demonstrate that protecting the environment is the right thing to do, and less waste means more profit."
