Festival Foods officials will be opening a grocery store this fall in Manitowoc. The new store will be located on a 7-acre parcel bordered by Dewey Street and S 42nd St., just south of the Dewey Street and Calumet Ave. intersection near Hwy 43 on Manitowoc’s southwest side.
The 70,000-square-foot store will have an adjacent Kwik Trip fuel and convenience store on the parcel as well. Jeff Weyers, president of Commercial Horizons is the developer of the land. Weyers said that recent commercial additions to this area make it one of Northeastern Wisconsin’s fastest growing areas.
According to Mark Skogen, president and chief executive officer of Festival Foods, the company is eager to extend “our geographic reach to this part of the state.”
