Orion nominated for environmental award

MADISON — Thirty-seven Wisconsin companies, including Orion Energy Systems in Manitowoc, have been nominated for the Business Friend of the Environment Awards, honoring leadership in pollution prevention, environmental innovation, and stewardship.

The awards are presented by the Wisconsin Environmental Working Group, an affiliate of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.

"The companies nominated for the Business Friend of the Environment Award are our state's leaders in environmental stewardship," said Scott Manley, WEWG director. "These companies demonstrate that keeping our environment clean is good for the earth, good for consumers, good for employees and good for competitiveness."
