CLEVELAND — High school students will run companies and compete to win scholarships as part of Junior Achievement Business Challenge II set for March 20.
The challenge enables students to become CEOs for the day through a hands-on computer simulated business strategy tournament.
Teams of two high school students will pair up with an area business leader for the competition, giving students a first-hand look at running a business in the real world.
Teams must make their own business decisions regarding product pricing, marketing strategies, inventory levels, and research and development investments.
Winning teams will receive scholarships, with the top teams advancing to the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Statewide Business Challenge in April.
Registration is open until Friday. To register or for information, contact high school business teachers, or call Junior Achievement, (920) 458-0007.
