MANITOWOC — Candles, sculpted murals, candy  arrangements, and stained-glass creations will be  among items available for purchase Saturday  morning with the debut of Main Street Market, 836 S.
Eighth St.

"Manitowoc Coffee is celebrating its third year in  business and is more committed than ever to the
revitalization effort of downtown Manitowoc," said Barb Broehm, retail director for TBL Business
Development.

John Hemken, majority owner of the business,  opened Manitowoc Main Street with Manitowoc  Coffee and TWH Collectibles Gallery in November  2007 in the downtown space formerly occupied by  Cooks Corner, which went out of business.

TWH Collectibles Gallery features museum-quality  replicas of cranes, fire engines and other heavy  equipment.

The Manitowoc Company Store also is in the  Manitowoc Main Street building.

Sixteen vendors will display their wares at the market, open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays
through May 8.

Brohem said the indoor market "effectively brings  together local crafters into one convenient
shopping experience."

Among them is Julie Bubolz's Imagination Creation.  Out of her home studio the Reedsville stained-glass
artist makes pieces ranging from small sun catchers to nightlights to freestanding items.

"My favorite subject is to make realistic birds," said  Bubolz, who has sold stained glass for nearly 30
years. In 2008, she constructed six windows for the Oakfield United Methodist Church.
