KI awarded supplier contract by Premier Healthcare Alliance

MANITOWOC — The KI manufacturing plant in the Lakeshore area will be part of KI nationwide producing furniture and wall systems for the Premier Healthcare Alliance, representing more than 2,100 hospitals and 53,000 other health care sites.

KI was awarded the contract following an extensive review process with a wide range of criteria. Companies were evaluated on experience and expertise in the healthcare market, as well as the breadth and depth of product offerings.

Consideration was also given to companies that demonstrated an innovative approach to developing custom products, an emphasis on ergonomic solutions, and a series of financial and non-financial value-added services.
