Lakeside Foods receives safety awards from Midwest Food Processors

MANITOWOC — The Midwest Food Processors Association has honored Lakeside Foods for the company's plants' achievements in safety and earning top safety records.
"While we have an excellent safety program, it is very satisfying to be recognized by our industry for it," said Tom Reilly, vice president of human resources.
Awards are based on having the lowest recordable incident rate for a given cumulative employee-hours category. Lakeside earned honors for safety accomplishments at its Reedsburg and Seymour plants and Manitowoc distribution center.
Other Lakesides Foods facilities feted included its Richmond, Belgium and Manitowoc plants.
