BACKGROUND:The E-Seed Entrepreneurs Course is course is a 10-session course designed for people who want to start a business and need the skills to test the feasibility of their business concept.  Participants develop a business plan which acts as the blueprint for their start-up venture.  Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will learn the following:

• What it takes to be a successful entrepreneur
• How to develop and test their business concept
• How to select the best business entry option
• How to organize and manage their business
• How to research and market their business
• How to understand and get their financials in order
• How and where to get funding for their business
• How to determine feasibility of their business concept
• How to develop a network with other entrepreneurs

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE? Are you ready to be your own boss?  Do you have a great idea that you think would make a successful business?  Are you energetic, creative and enthusiastic?  Are you ready to take your career to the next level?   If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, you should consider enrolling in the E-Seed Entrepreneurs Course.

SPEAKERS AND PRESENTERS: You will receive real world knowledge and insight from featured guest speakers who are professional in the areas of law, accounting, marketing, market research, and business financing. Appearances and presentations from local, successful area entrepreneurs are also part of your E-Seed experience.  You will learn about their backgrounds and businesses.  Their entrepreneurial spirit will inspire you to realize your dream! 

COST & BENEFITS: A fee of $350.00 includes a comprehensive reference book, all class handouts, credits at Lakeshore Technical College, and those who open a business in Manitowoc County receive a FREE 6 month charter membership to the The Chamber of Manitowoc County.  Also, if you have a business partner you may register yourself and one (1) business partner for $350.00.
